What's included

Everything the job
actually takes.

No line-item surprises halfway through. Here's the scope we carry on a typical kitchen remodel job across the Treasure Valley.

01

Layout & planning

We walk the room before we price it. Sometimes the fix is new doors and counters; sometimes it's moving a wall and gaining eight feet of usable space. You'll hear which one we think it is.

02

Cabinetry

Custom, semi-custom, or your own order installed dead level and scribed to walls that are never as square as the plan says they are.

03

Countertops

Granite, quartz, and butcher block templated after the boxes are set, fabricated, and seamed where the seam won't stare at you every morning.

04

Tile & backsplash

Subway, herringbone, slab, or large-format — laid out from the center so the cuts land in the corners instead of over the range.

05

Flooring & trim

New floor run under the toe-kick, transitions that don't trip anyone, and base, casing, and crown that close the room out.

06

Plumbing, electric & finish

Sinks, disposals, gas lines, under-cabinet lighting, and outlet relocations coordinated with licensed trades so inspections aren't a surprise.

What a kitchen remodel actually involves

A kitchen is the most trade-dense room in a house. Demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, cabinetry, stone, tile, flooring, and finish carpentry all have to happen in a specific order, and every one of them depends on the crew before it doing their part right. That sequencing is most of the job. It is also where remodels go sideways — a cabinet order that shows up two weeks late pushes the countertop template, which pushes the backsplash, which pushes the plumber's return trip.

We keep it in one set of hands. The person who bids your kitchen is the person managing the calendar and swinging the hammer, so when something has to move, it moves once and you hear about it the same day. Owner-run since 2021, working across Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, and Caldwell.

What drives the number

Two kitchens the same square footage can be twenty thousand dollars apart. What actually moves the price:

  • Layout changes. Keeping plumbing and gas where they are is dramatically cheaper than relocating them. Removing a load-bearing wall means a beam, posts, and engineering.
  • Cabinet grade. Stock, semi-custom, and full custom are three different budgets. Refacing solid boxes is a fourth, and much lower.
  • Countertop material. Granite and quartz price by slab, square footage, and edge profile. Waterfall ends and mitered edges add fabrication time.
  • Tile complexity. A straight-set subway backsplash and a herringbone pattern with a niche are not the same labor.
  • What's behind the drywall. Older Treasure Valley homes turn up cloth wiring, undersized panels, and drain lines that need to be brought current. We'd rather find it in the walkthrough than in week three.

How long it takes

A cosmetic refresh — cabinets, counters, backsplash, floor, no walls moved — is usually a matter of weeks, and the long pole is almost always cabinet and stone lead times rather than labor. A full gut with layout changes and permits runs longer. We give you a real calendar at bid time, not a number designed to win the job, and we tell you which dates depend on a supplier rather than on us.

Questions we get
on every bid.

How long will my kitchen be unusable?

Plan on being without a working kitchen for the bulk of the project — realistically from demo through countertop install. We can usually leave the range and fridge live on a temporary circuit and set up a wash station elsewhere in the house so it's inconvenient rather than impossible. We'll tell you at bid time which weeks are the rough ones.

Do I buy the cabinets, or do you?

Either. Most clients have us handle the order because we're the ones who have to hang them, and a shop drawing that's a half-inch off is our problem to fix on site. If you've already ordered or you're bringing in a specific line, we'll install them and hold that order to the same standard.

Can you move walls and change the layout?

Yes. Bump-outs, removed walls, relocated islands, and reworked plumbing are all in scope. Anything structural gets a beam sized properly and permitted through the city or county — Boise, Meridian, and Ada County each have their own process, and we handle that side of it.

Do you work outside of Boise?

We cover the Treasure Valley — Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, and the towns in between. If you're farther out, call and ask. We'd rather tell you honestly whether the drive makes sense than take a job we can't service well.
